Collect

lessonplanning

No need to build your yoga practice from scratch.

Your job is to COLLECT stuff that works.

A yoga class is simply your laboratory to test the techniques being taught.

Your practice is built when you collect what has resonated.

The harder task is, of course, to discard what DOESN'T work.

The more good techniques you collect, the more you can figure out what to use on your own.

This personal curation of stuff that WORKS is what makes your yoga practice yours.

Think About It.

PS: I totally stole this concept from Austin Kleon, who wrote Steal Like An Artist and put into words the way we should try to see (not imitate) our teachers....

You don’t want to look like your heroes, you want to see like your heroes....Austen Kleon
